Accessibility
This site is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Here is what that means in practice, and what to do if something does not work for you.
What has been done
- Pages are built from semantic HTML with proper landmarks and a single, correctly ordered heading structure.
- Everything works with the keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible.
- A skip link is the first thing you reach on every page.
- Text contrast meets at least 4.5:1, and interface elements at least 3:1 — checked in both the light and dark colour schemes, since they use different colours.
- Nothing is communicated by colour alone; form errors carry text as well.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are linked to their field so a screen reader announces them together.
- The site works with JavaScript disabled, including the contact form.
- Pages reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320px and at 200% zoom.
- There is no automatic movement, and any transition is disabled if your system asks for reduced motion.
- Images carry meaningful alternative text, or are marked decorative when that is what they are.
How it is checked
Automated checks run against every page on each change: heading structure, image alternatives, and whether images declare dimensions. Automated testing only catches part of the problem, so it is backed by keyboard-only navigation of each page and a contrast check in both colour schemes.
Known limitations
The logo is supplied as a bitmap image rather than as text or vector artwork. It carries an appropriate alternative, but it will not sharpen at very high zoom levels the way the rest of the page does.
This site has not been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and it would be wrong to claim otherwise. If you find something that does not work, that is a genuinely useful report rather than a nuisance.
